How To Assemble Buildy Bots

Gather these parts to learn how to assemble:

• 1 x 12 frame
• 1 x 4 frame
• 1 x yellow nut
• 1 x green bolt
• tool

Buildy Bots uses tools and frames specially designed for small hands. The screws and nuts lock into place securely without having to screw too tight.

To assemble Buildy Bots frames;

1. Push the tool into the bolt until you hear or feel a snap
   • The tool snaps into the bolt so it doesn’t slip when a child screws it into the nut
2. Lay the 4 frame on top of the top row of the 12 frame so the holes line up

Hold the frames in place with the nut;

1. Insert a nut into the 4 frame and push through the 12 frame
2. Push the nut so the groves line up
   • This will keep it from slipping

Screw the frames in place;

1. Insert the screw into the nut and screw in a clockwise motion until it’s tight
   • Don’t screw too tight, or it will be hard to remove later

Remove the tool from the screw;

1. Tilt the tool to remove it from the bolt
   • The tool may make a small popping sound

Long nut & bolt

Connects 3 frames together.

Pivot nut & bolt

Connects 2 frames and can pivot.
